The NBA has suspended three players for their roles in a recent fight during a game between the Suns and Mavericks
Naji Marshall, Jusuf Nurkic, PJ Washington, Dallas, Phoenix, NBA
Dallas: So, the NBA is cracking down on fights, huh? After that wild brawl between the Suns and Mavericks, they handed out some serious suspensions.
Naji Marshall from the Mavericks got hit with a four-game suspension. Jusuf Nurkic from the Suns is out for three games, and PJ Washington will miss one game. Ouch!
This all kicked off when Nurkic got called for an offensive foul. Marshall jumped in to defend his teammate, and things escalated quickly. Nurkic slapped Marshall, and then Marshall threw a punch. It was chaos!
Washington also got involved and ended up shoving Nurkic to the ground. All three were ejected from the game. The NBA made it clear they won’t tolerate this kind of behavior.
They even mentioned that Marshall tried to keep the fight going outside the locker rooms, which is why he got an extra game. The Mavericks are really feeling the heat, especially since Luka Doncic is already out for a month with a calf strain.
