Muslim Inmate Allegedly Attacked Five Officers While Shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’
A Muslim inmate reportedly attempted to kill five prison officers, shouting religious phrases during the attacks, a court has revealed.

Kent: So, there’s this wild story coming out of a prison in Kent. A guy named Aklakur Rahman, 38, is in some serious trouble. He’s accused of trying to kill five prison officers.
Apparently, he shouted “Allahu Akbar” during one of the attacks. This all went down at HMP Swaleside and Belmarsh, which are both high-security prisons. It happened between September and October last year.
Rahman’s facing a whopping 20 charges, including five counts of attempted murder. He even used some makeshift weapons, like a sharpened plastic spoon, which is pretty crazy.
The prosecutor, Alistair Richardson, told the jury that Rahman sees the officers as “kuffar,” a term he uses for non-Muslims. He’s been pretty vocal about wanting to harm them.
Richardson said this guy is dangerous and has made it clear he wants to kill prison staff. He’s been saying it before, during, and after the attacks. It’s a pretty intense situation.
