Pembrokeshire: A musical celebration of the legendary Victoria Wood is on its way! The show, “Looking For Me Friend: The Music of Victoria Wood,” will hit the stage at Queens Hall in Narberth on February 13, 2025, at 7 PM.

This performance is crafted by Paulus, who’s known as “The Cabaret Geek.” It’s part of a special tour marking five years of this tribute. The show is directed by the talented Sarah-Louise Young and will feature some of Wood’s most cherished songs, like “It Would Never Have Worked” and “Ballad of Barry & Freda (Let’s Do It).”

But it’s not just the hits; there will be some of her more touching and lesser-known pieces too. Paulus expressed his excitement, saying he loves meeting fellow fans of Victoria Wood and sharing her incredible humor and talent with new audiences.

Joining Paulus on stage will be the acclaimed pianist Michael Roulston. Paulus is not just an entertainer; he’s also an educator who specializes in cabaret. You might recognize him from BBC1’s “All Together Now,” where he served as a talent judge.

This tribute first premiered in London back in 2020. Paulus has a rich history in the cabaret scene, having worked closely with The Battersea Barge for 15 years and producing many successful shows.

He’s also been behind the scenes of various talent competitions, including the National Burlesque Awards and Drag Idol. If you want to learn more about Paulus and his show, check out the Looking for Me Friend website. And for tickets to the Narberth performance, head over to The Queen’s Hall, Narberth website.
