Bronx: A tragic incident unfolded when a 14-year-old boy was stabbed to death. The NYPD reported that Caleb Rios was attacked by a random assailant who is also wanted for another stabbing.

Authorities are questioning a person of interest in connection with Caleb’s murder and a previous subway stabbing that happened just days before. Both incidents occurred close to each other, raising concerns about a possible connection.

Caleb was just standing on the sidewalk when the suspect approached him and stabbed him twice in the chest. It all happened so fast. The poor kid ran for help but sadly, he didn’t make it.

Surveillance footage shows Caleb sprinting away from his attacker, who was right behind him. The police are now sharing images of the suspect to get more leads. They believe this guy might be the same one who stabbed another man at the subway station earlier this month.

In that earlier incident, a 38-year-old man was attacked from behind while going down the subway stairs. He was hurt but survived after getting stitches.

Witnesses and police are describing the attacker as a tall Hispanic man, and they’re hoping someone will recognize him. Caleb’s family is heartbroken, trying to understand how this could happen to their son.

His father shared how wonderful Caleb was, saying it’s just so hard to deal with this loss. Caleb even called his dad right after the stabbing, saying he couldn’t breathe. It’s just heartbreaking.

Friends and family are in shock, saying Caleb was a good kid who didn’t deserve this. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward and help them solve this case.
