Mumbai: So, there was this wild incident at actress Poonam Dhillon’s place in Khar. A guy named Sameer Ansari, 37, got arrested for stealing some pretty valuable stuff. We’re talking about a diamond earring worth a whopping ₹1 lakh, along with ₹35,000 in cash and even 500 US dollars!
Turns out, this guy was working at her house as part of a painting crew. He was there from December 28 to January 5, and while he was painting, he spotted an unlocked cupboard. Can you believe it? He just took his chance and grabbed the goodies!
The whole thing blew up when Poonam’s son, Anmol, came back from Dubai on January 5. He checked the place and noticed the stuff was missing. After a quick chat with his mom, they figured out something was off, and her manager had to step in and file a police report.
Once the police got involved, they called in the painters for questioning. And guess what? Ansari fessed up during the interrogation. Now, he’s in hot water for his sneaky little heist!
