Mumbai: So, a Mumbai court just turned down the bail request for Sanjay More, the driver involved in that awful bus accident back in December. You know, the one where seven people lost their lives and over 40 got hurt? It was a real tragedy.

The bus, which is part of the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport, hit several vehicles on SG Barve Road late at night. After that, they arrested More under some serious charges. The judge, VM Pathade, didn’t give him bail, but we’re still waiting for the full details on that decision.

More’s lawyer, Samadhan Sulane, argued that the accident happened because of a mechanical issue with the bus. He claims More was wrongly arrested. But the prosecution says there was no technical fault found in the bus. After hearing both sides, the judge decided to keep More in custody.

Back in December, More had already asked for bail, saying the bus had a mechanical fault that led to the accident. He even mentioned seeing a spark before losing control. But the police are saying that both the RTO and BEST reports show there was no fault with the bus. They believe it was all due to driver negligence. It’s a tough situation for everyone involved.
