The FIR reveals a shocking plot against a retired police officer’s son by Baba Siddique’s killers

Mumbai: So, there’s some wild news coming out of Mumbai about the Baba Siddique murder case. The Crime Branch just filed a chargesheet that reveals some pretty shocking stuff. Turns out, the guys already arrested for Siddique’s murder had also been planning to take out the son of a retired police officer.
These two guys, Rupesh Mohol and Gaurav Apune, along with their buddy Shubham Lonkar, were all set to go after the officer’s son. But, thankfully, they got nabbed before they could make it happen.
Why were they after him? Well, it seems they thought the officer’s son was involved in a plot that led to the murder of their friend, Jaydeep Bhondkar. Jaydeep was killed last September in Pune, and they believed the officer’s son helped the guy who did it.
The Crime Branch is taking this seriously and has already tipped off the police in Uttam Nagar, Pune, to make sure the officer’s son is safe.
Digging deeper, it looks like Jaydeep was killed during a fight that escalated from a friendly chat. The guy who attacked him, Amit Sudam Gurjar, lured him outside under the guise of needing help and then turned on him. Mohol and Apune were convinced that the officer’s son was in on the whole thing.
In their statements, they admitted to plotting the murder and even talked about getting weapons for the job. The Crime Branch found firearms and ammo that were meant for this attack. They even practiced shooting near Khadakwasla Dam before they got caught.
