Southport: So, there was this wild scene in Southport where a bunch of people got into a serious clash with the police. It all kicked off on July 30 after the tragic deaths of three young girls in a mass stabbing.

Fast forward to now, and six more folks have been sentenced for their part in the chaos. Among them is a 27-year-old guy named Sam Winstanley from Wigan. He got two years and eight months in jail for throwing bottles at the police while wearing a St George’s Cross flag over his face.

Then there are five teenagers who also got in trouble. One of them, a 17-year-old from Bootle, was caught on CCTV throwing bricks at the police. His mum saw his face in a police appeal and turned him in. Talk about a tough love moment!

Another teen from Southport also handed himself in after seeing his image on the news. He was involved in some pretty rough stuff, including racial chanting and handling stolen goods.

The police are really cracking down on this, and they’ve arrested a total of 165 people related to the disorder. They’re not stopping until they’ve got everyone involved. If anyone has info, they’re urging people to reach out. It’s a serious situation, and they want to make sure justice is served.
