Withernsea: A mum-of-five, Jamie-Louise Farren, tragically passed away at just 35 years old. Her family described her as a “truly beautiful soul.”
She died on Boxing Day after suffering an asthma attack at her home. Jamie-Louise had battled asthma since she was a baby, spending a lot of time in hospitals.
Her mum, Lorraine, is now urging others with asthma to take their condition seriously. She emphasized the importance of attending medical appointments, saying, “Asthma is a serious illness and unfortunately in our family’s case, a killer.”
Jamie-Louise was a devoted mother to her five kids, and her family is heartbroken. Lorraine shared how they grew up together, with Jamie-Louise teaching her about unconditional love.
She was known for her vibrant personality and sense of humor. Jamie-Louise loved life and was always the life of the party, making everyone laugh with her stories.
Her children, Ethan, Nevaeh, Maggie-mae, Henry-George, and Colt-Jax, were her world. She spent her days baking, crafting, and creating memories with them, showing her love in every way possible.
Her sister, Georgina, remembered her as a loving big sister who always put others first. Jamie lived for her kids and will be deeply missed.
A GoFundMe was set up to support Jamie’s family during this tough time, raising over £2,300 so far. The family expressed their gratitude for the community’s support and kindness.
Lorraine also thanked the emergency services for their compassion during such a difficult time, highlighting the kindness they showed on the worst day of their lives.
