Much-Loved Member of Pembrokeshire Sailing Club Passes Away
The Tenby Sailing Club mourns the loss of Stuart ‘Captain Hook’ Fecci, a cherished member known for his kindness and humor

Tenby: A beloved sailor from the Tenby Sailing Club has sadly passed away. Stuart ‘Captain Hook’ Fecci was a well-known figure at the club.
The club shared the news of his death with heavy hearts. Stuart was always ready to lend a hand and had a friendly vibe that made everyone feel welcome.
He loved being outdoors and was often seen out on the water with friends. The club’s spokesperson said, “We’ve lost our Captain Hook.”
They added that he was great company, always sharing funny stories. He was also very proud of his Welsh roots and loved cheering for the national team.
“We’ll miss him a lot,” they said, sending love to his family during this tough time. The club will hold a wake on Thursday, January 30, in the afternoon.
In other news, the club has launched a new member’s area called ‘myclubhouse’ for event info and renewals. Members can log in to renew their 2025 memberships with discounts for early renewals before January 31.
