Bolton: On Saturday, mountain rescue teams found the body of a woman who had been missing. Lynda, 57, was last seen on January 4, leaving her home in Ainsworth.

After she was reported missing, a big search effort kicked off. Police and paramedics joined the mountain rescue teams to look for her in the rural areas near Knowsley Road. Sadly, they discovered her body during the search.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that her family has been informed. They also mentioned that a file has been sent to the coroner. Their thoughts are with Lynda’s family during this tough time.

The Bolton Mountain Rescue team shared that they had 35 members out for nine hours searching. They expressed their condolences to Lynda’s family and thanked Brownhill Boarding Kennels and Stables for letting them use their parking area as a base for the search.

In a statement, police reiterated the sad news about Lynda’s body being found and thanked everyone who helped with the search efforts. It’s a heartbreaking situation, and our hearts go out to her loved ones.
