Bloxwich: So, here’s the scoop. A driver is getting their stolen van back, but there’s a catch—half of it is gone! The West Midlands police managed to track it down while they were on patrol.
They found the van in Walsall, and it turns out it was connected to some shady business. A photo from the police shows the van with its engine bay completely stripped. Yikes!
The police said, “Bloxwich Police recovered a van linked to criminal activity after carrying out patrols.” It’s a bit of a bummer for the owner, but at least they’re getting it back.
The community really stepped up to help out, which is awesome. The police also mentioned they’ve been busy doing other good stuff, like handing out signal-blocking pouches to help stop vehicle thefts.
They even visited a community center where they installed a bleed kit, which is pretty cool. The officers have been chatting with folks in the Pelsall area about keeping their cars safe, especially during those frosty mornings.
It sounds like they had some great conversations with residents who were eager to hear the tips. It’s nice to see the community and police working together like this!
