London: A tragic incident unfolded in Harlesden when Michelle Sadio, a 46-year-old mother of two, was shot and killed. She was attending a wake for a family friend when the shooting occurred.
It happened outside a church on Gifford Road, just after 9 PM on Saturday. Michelle was reportedly an innocent bystander caught in a drive-by shooting that also injured two men.
Friends say she had stepped outside for a breather from the loud music when the shots rang out. They believe the shooting might be linked to ongoing gang conflicts in the area.
One friend mentioned that the event was meant to honor Dinah Boateng, an 80-year-old family friend. It’s heartbreaking that such violence erupted at a gathering meant to celebrate life.
