Teesside: It’s been a tough few months at Teesside Crown Court, with over 40 people getting locked up for some pretty serious stuff. We’re talking about everything from murder to sexual assault, and even some violent robberies.

One of the more shocking cases involved an army vet who went off the rails after a night of drinking. He attacked his partner, leaving her with some nasty injuries. The judge didn’t hold back, calling him a danger to the public and giving him a hefty 28-month sentence.

Then there was this gang that thought they could take justice into their own hands. They ended up killing an innocent man in a brutal attack. The ringleader got life in prison, while others got significant sentences for their roles in the crime.

And let’s not forget about the guy who thought it was okay to stalk and attack his girlfriend. He ended up with a 20-month sentence after a judge described his behavior as controlling and paranoid.

There were also some truly disturbing cases, like a man who sexually assaulted a vulnerable woman in an alley. He got over three years for that horrific act.

The court also dealt with a prolific burglar who caused chaos in Darlington, breaking into shops and schools to fund his drug habit. He was sentenced to 18 months, which seems pretty light considering the damage he caused.

All in all, it’s been a grim few months for the justice system in Teesside, with many lives affected by these crimes. The sentences handed down reflect the seriousness of the offenses, and hopefully, they serve as a warning to others.
