Columbus, Ohio, Hotel Break-ins, Vandalism, Car Windows
Columbus: Over two dozen hotel guests in Columbus had a rough start to their Sunday. They woke up to find their car windows smashed and their stuff all over the place.
The police got a flood of calls about break-ins, especially on the north and northeast sides of the city. It all kicked off around 6:30 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott near the airport.
At least six hotel parking lots were hit, including places like the Fairfield Inn and Four Points Columbus. It’s a real bummer for those guests who just wanted a nice stay.
Dispatchers mentioned that the suspects might be driving a stolen vehicle, but there’s not much more info out there yet. We’ll keep an eye on this story as it develops.
