Crime

Moray, Andrew Debidin, Alsatians, Rothiemay, Scotland

Moray: So, there’s been a lot of buzz lately about a 71-year-old man found dead in Rothiemay. This guy, Andrew Debidin, was quite the character. He had a reputation for owning nearly 50 Alsatians, which definitely raised some eyebrows in the neighborhood.

He was discovered at his home back in December, and the details around his death are still a bit murky. The SSPCA even took two dogs from his place, but they’re doing fine and will be rehomed soon.

The Crown Office is on the case, looking into what happened. They got a report about his death on December 15, and they’re keeping the family in the loop about any updates. While they haven’t officially confirmed it, it seems pretty clear that it’s him.

Debidin made headlines years ago when he fought to keep all those dogs despite complaints from neighbors and the local council. They tried to get him to reduce the number of barking dogs, but the court sided with him. It was a big deal back then, and even the council leader was pretty upset about it.

Before moving to Moray, he had some serious trouble with the law regarding his dogs in England. He even had a life ban on keeping dogs at one point! It’s a wild story, and now with his death, it’s got everyone talking again.
