Atlanta: The Falcons are putting on a show with their defense tonight. They’ve kept the Raiders to just 80 yards and only a field goal. Plus, they forced a turnover, got two sacks, and even scored a safety. That’s how they’re leading 9-3 at halftime.

The only touchdown so far was a nice 30-yard pass from Kirk Cousins to Drake London. It’s been a while since Cousins threw a touchdown, so this is a big deal for him. He’s had a rough few games with eight picks and no touchdowns.

On the flip side, the Falcons haven’t racked up a ton of yards either, just 128. Cousins completed 7 of 9 passes for 84 yards, and London caught two of those for 48 yards. Bijan Robinson is doing his part too, running for 58 yards on 10 carries.

The Falcons’ defense has really been the star of the show. The Raiders only managed one scoring drive, which was just 37 yards long. They barely crossed midfield in five tries!

One highlight was when Atlanta’s Zach Harrison tackled Las Vegas running back Alexander Mattison in the end zone for a safety. That was after a great punt that pinned the Raiders deep in their territory.

Mattison also fumbled on the Raiders’ first drive, and Kevin King jumped on it for the Falcons. Unfortunately, they only gained 10 yards before punting again.

Desmond Ridder is starting against his old team, and he’s 7 of 11 for 59 yards. He’s also leading the team in rushing with 22 yards on three carries. Rookie tight end Brock Bowers has been a reliable target with three catches for 35 yards.
