Missing Twin Sisters in Aberdeen Didn’t Inform Family of Life Changes
Eliza and Henrietta Huszti vanished after planning to move without telling family
Aberdeen, Scotland, Eliza Huszti, Henrietta Huszti, Missing Persons
The police are searching the River Dee, where the sisters were last seen. CCTV footage shows them walking through the city center at 2:12 AM on January 7. They were spotted on Market Street before heading towards the river.
Authorities have deployed marine units and dog teams to assist in the search. Sadly, they believe the sisters may have entered the water, but there’s no evidence they left the area. Their family was shocked to learn about the move, as they had spoken to their mother just days before without any signs of trouble.
Their brother Jozsef mentioned that they had sent a message to their landlady about ending their tenancy. He said, “We didn’t have any information about that. It’s strange they didn’t tell us.”
The sisters were reportedly doing well financially and were saving to buy a home. Police are keeping an open mind about their disappearance but haven’t found any signs of foul play.
Superintendent David Howieson noted that the sisters’ behavior was unusual for them. They left home and walked directly to the river area, where the CCTV footage ends.
The police are focusing their search on the river and surrounding areas but haven’t ruled out other possibilities. They haven’t found any evidence of criminal activity.
The family is deeply worried and has asked anyone with information to come forward. They just want Eliza and Henrietta to be found safe. If you have any information, please contact Police Scotland at 101, quoting incident number 0735 from January 7.
