Aberdeen: The family of two missing sisters is in shock. They had no clue that Henrietta and Eliza Huszti were planning to leave their home. The sisters were last seen on January 7, and the search is now in its second week.

These 32-year-olds originally hail from Hungary. They have a brother who still lives there, and he’s been expressing his disbelief over their sudden disappearance. Jozsef Huszti called the situation “strange.”

He mentioned that the sisters sent a message to their landlord, saying they wanted to end their tenancy immediately. But they never mentioned any plans to their family, which has left everyone puzzled.

Even during a chat with their mother just before they vanished, there was no hint of any plans to move out. The sisters had been in Scotland for about a decade and were saving up to buy their own place.

Jozsef said they were close to their mom, often talking to her daily. The family has received a lot of support during this tough time. Police Scotland confirmed it’s a missing persons case, not a criminal one.

The alarm was raised by the sisters’ landlord, who noticed they were planning to leave. Authorities are exploring several theories, including the possibility that the sisters may have entered the River Dee.

Search efforts have been extensive, involving helicopters, divers, and search dogs. The area was icy when they disappeared, making the search even more challenging. Their family has made a heartfelt appeal for anyone with information to come forward.

They just want to find Eliza and Henrietta and bring them home safely. The sisters are described as white, slim, and with long brown hair.
