London: New Millwall centre-back Tristan Crama has shared that one of the main reasons he joined the club was Alex Neil’s track record with developing players like him. He made the switch from Brentford and is excited about the opportunity.

Crama has signed a long-term deal and is ready to play in the upcoming home game against Hull City. He mentioned how important it is for a young centre-back to have a coach who can guide their development.

He pointed out that Neil has helped many young defenders grow, naming a few like Sepp van den Berg and Ben Godfrey. Crama feels that the club’s interest in him, having watched him play over 20 times, shows they really want him on the team.

Reflecting on his journey, he talked about how he started at Brentford without knowing much English and how challenging it was during the pandemic. But he’s taken it step by step and is now looking forward to playing regularly.

Crama emphasized that he values being on the pitch more than just being part of a Premier League team. He’s eager to contribute and feels that playing every week is what he truly wants.
