London: Millwall is really interested in bringing Louie Barry on loan from Aston Villa. The young attacker has been making waves during his loan at Stockport County.

He scored 15 goals in just 23 League One matches before Villa decided to recall him. That’s pretty impressive, right? Millwall is on the lookout for a winger, especially with Romain Esse possibly heading to Crystal Palace.

But it’s not just Millwall; other clubs are eyeing Esse too, including some interest from Monaco. Barry has been a standout player, netting 25 goals in 46 games for Stockport across two loan spells.

He played a crucial role in helping Stockport get promoted from League Two. Last season, he even set a club record by scoring in seven straight league matches. Villa’s manager, Unai Emery, has hinted that Barry will likely go out on loan again to continue his development.

Emery mentioned that while they’re happy with Barry, getting him more game time is essential for his growth. Sunderland and Leeds United have also shown interest in him.

Challinor, Stockport’s manager, noted that when you take a player on loan from a Premier League club, you know what you’re getting into. He hoped Barry could stay and keep scoring, but ultimately, it’s out of their hands.

Interestingly, Millwall is also looking at Isaiah Jones from Middlesbrough, who has attracted both loan and permanent offers. However, Boro has accepted bids from West Bromwich Albion and Luton Town for him.
