Miami: So, it looks like Tyler Huntley is getting the nod again for the Dolphins. Coach Mike McDaniel just announced that Tua Tagovailoa will sit out another game due to his hip injury.

During his press conference, McDaniel said, “We’ll approach it like Snoop’s starting.” He really thinks it’s smart to prepare for Huntley to take the lead.

McDaniel mentioned that it’s “unlikely” Tua will be back on the field anytime soon. This injury is a bit different from what he dealt with in college, and it’s not just about pain tolerance.

He explained that Tua has a “unique muscle issue” that’s keeping him from playing. It’s all about making sure he’s strong enough to do what’s needed and to protect himself from serious injury.

Tagovailoa has had a solid season, completing nearly 73% of his passes with 19 touchdowns. But this will be the third time in four years he’s played 13 games or fewer.

Now, the Dolphins still have a shot at the playoffs. If Denver loses to Kansas City and Miami beats the Jets, they could snag that No. 7 seed in the AFC.

As for Huntley, this will be his fifth start this season. He’s been pretty efficient, completing over 66% of his passes and adding some rushing yards and touchdowns to the mix.
