Huntington: Mike Green is making waves as he heads to the NFL after a standout season at Marshall. He really turned heads this year.
With 17 sacks, he led the entire Football Bowl Subdivision. That’s no small feat! He announced his decision to go pro on Friday, and fans are buzzing.
Not only did he rack up those sacks, but he also had 23 tackles for loss and 84 total tackles. Plus, he forced three fumbles and had a fumble recovery. His efforts helped Marshall clinch the Sun Belt Conference title.
This was a huge year for Green. Just last season, he had 4.5 sacks. He even started his college journey at Virginia back in 2021. It’s been quite the ride!
