Woolwich: The Met Police have shared the name of the boy who lost his life on a bus in South London. Kelyan Bokassa, just 14, was stabbed around 2:30 PM on the 472 bus.

He was reportedly heading to Woolwich Town Hall to meet his social worker on his first day back at school when the tragedy struck, according to his mother.

Sadly, Kelyan passed away shortly after paramedics arrived. The person responsible for this horrific act is still at large.

The incident happened on Woolwich Church Street, close to the A205 South Circular Road. His mother, Mary Bokassa, expressed her heartbreak, revealing that Kelyan had been influenced by gangs and exposed to drugs.

Mary described her son as caring and funny, saying he was polite and loved football, especially Arsenal. She shared how they had to move around a lot, and he spent four years in care without any real progress.

She fought hard to maintain contact with him, even needing a lawyer’s help. After being missing for a year, Kelyan returned home, but he was in poor condition, underweight, and had tattoos.

Mary added that after coming back, Kelyan was taken advantage of by local gangs. She sensed something was off with him, as he wouldn’t open up about his friends or what he was going through.
