Met Office Forecasts Light Showers and Cloudy Skies for Liverpool
Liverpool is in for a mix of light showers and cloudy weather today, with some sunny breaks expected later on

By midday, it’ll be mostly cloudy, but we might see a bit of sunshine around 2 PM. Temperatures will be pretty mild, peaking at about 8°C and dropping to around 6°C later.
Tonight, expect more rain, possibly heavy at times, and it’ll be a bit windy at first, but the winds should calm down overnight. The night will be frost-free, with a low of about 4°C.
There’s a yellow warning out for heavy rain in the West Midlands and most of Wales, which could lead to some flooding. They’re predicting 20mm to 40mm of rain, with even more in higher areas.
Over in Devon, Okehampton saw 35.8mm of rain on Sunday, and some strong winds were recorded in Berry Head and Capelcurig. A yellow wind warning was also in effect for parts of southern England, but thankfully not for Merseyside.
Meteorologist Marco Petagna mentioned that we’re in for a bit of an unsettled spell, with wet and windy weather continuing.
While Storm Eowyn was a big deal, the new low-pressure system named Storm Herminia is making waves in Spain, where they’re expecting strong winds.
Monday will bring heavy showers in the south, with some strong winds and even snow on the northern hills. The gales should ease in the South West overnight but may pick up in the far north.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, more heavy showers are expected in the south, with a chance of thunder, while the North West will see some rain easing later. The wet and windy weather will stick around in the south on Wednesday, but things should settle down later in the week.
