Greater Manchester: The weather has been quite the rollercoaster lately. Just last week, we had heavy snow and freezing temperatures that caused a lot of chaos.

But today, things are looking up! The Met Office says we can expect milder weather, with temperatures around 4C. It’s a nice change after that deep freeze.

We’ll have cloudy skies and some light rain later today, but it’s nothing too serious. Highs will be between 6C and 7C, which is a relief.

Tonight, it’ll cool down a bit, with lows around 5C to 6C. Tomorrow might be even warmer, with a forecast of 10C. Just a bit of mist and light rain to keep things interesting.

Across the UK, the weather is shifting too. Just a heads up, though—thawing ice could lead to some local flooding, so stay alert. Greg Dewhurst from the Met Office mentioned that milder air is moving in from the Atlantic.

Also, the UK Health Security Agency has a cold weather health alert in place until midday Tuesday. They’re warning that the recent cold snap could put extra pressure on NHS services, especially for the elderly and vulnerable.
