Cardiff: So, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Wales. This fog warning kicks in at 8 PM on Wednesday and lasts until 11 AM Thursday.
They’re saying the fog could make driving pretty tricky. Expect slower travel times, and there might be delays for buses and trains. Even flights could be affected.
Fog is expected to roll in and get pretty thick overnight, with visibility dropping below 100 meters in some spots. Areas like Bridgend, Caerphilly, and Newport are likely to see the worst of it.
To avoid any hassle, it’s a good idea to check the road conditions if you’re driving. Give yourself extra time, and maybe even change your plans if needed. Don’t forget to check your fog lights before you head out!
And just a heads up, tomorrow’s forecast says it’ll start off cold with some frost and patchy freezing fog. But it should clear up a bit, giving way to a dry day with some sunshine. The high will be around 8 °C.
