Galway: Ireland’s weather is about to get interesting. Expect a mix of good and bad weather soon. Tonight, the west coast will face wet and windy conditions.

But don’t worry! Tomorrow, many areas will enjoy a sunny day. This change will happen after the storm passes through.

However, there’s a catch. A cold and wet system is forming over northern Europe. It will likely reach the UK and Ireland by the weekend.

Carlow Weather has warned about tonight’s rough weather. But they also expect a break soon, leading to better conditions.

Meanwhile, an anticyclone is developing over Scandinavia. This system will move southeast towards the UK and Ireland.

Paul Blight, a UK meteorologist, shared insights about the upcoming weather. He noted that the anticyclone will intensify and shift northeast.

He also mentioned a cold pool forming, which could bring light rain or even snow. The deeper this cold pool gets, the more likely this is.

Weather models predict that both Ireland and the UK will experience very cold air by mid-February. Generational Weather shared a projection showing temperatures dropping to -5 degrees Celsius across Europe.

Some icy weather will even reach Ireland. Generational Weather warned, “Well unfortunately, things are taking a turn.”
