Los Angeles: Meghan Markle is feeling pretty crushed right now. She just lost her rescue beagle, Guy, and she shared her heartbreak on Instagram. It’s clear how much he meant to her.
In her post, she said, “I have cried too many tears to count.” You can really feel the weight of her sadness. She even mentioned how she hoped the shower would wash away her tears, but they’re still there, and that’s okay.
Meghan adopted Guy back in 2015 from a shelter in Kentucky. He was on borrowed time when she found him, and she instantly fell in love. It’s such a sweet story of rescue and love.
Guy had a rough patch before Meghan moved to the UK in 2017. He had a serious accident and needed a lot of care. Meghan and Harry would drive to see him while he was recovering. It shows how much they cared.
She shared that Guy was there for all the big moments in her life, from filming Suits to becoming a mom. There are even photos of him with her family, which just adds to the heartwarming memories.
Meghan also mentioned that Guy will appear in her upcoming Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.” She hopes viewers will love him just as much as she did. It’s a nice way to keep his memory alive.
She named him Guy because he was called “the little guy” at the rescue center. It’s such a fitting name for her little buddy. Meghan and Harry still have two other dogs, Mia and Pula, but losing Guy is a tough blow.
