Denver: Marvin Mims had an awesome game as a punt returner, helping the Broncos secure a 31-13 win over the Colts. His performance was a game-changer.
Thanks to his efforts, he’s been named the AFC special teams player of the week. Pretty cool, right?
Mims racked up 97 punt return yards, including a jaw-dropping 61-yard return in the fourth quarter that set up Denver’s go-ahead touchdown. He led the league in punt return yards for Week 15.
This marks Mims’ second time winning the special teams player of the week award. He’s really making a name for himself!
In 14 games this season, the second-year receiver has caught 23 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns. He’s also rushed for 40 yards on 11 carries.
On top of that, he’s averaging a league-high 15.7 yards per punt return and 27.8 yards on six kick returns. Talk about a standout player!
