Volunteers Needed for Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal This Year
Hey there! Marie Curie is looking for volunteers to help with their Great Daffodil Appeal. It’s a great way to support end-of-life care!
Marie Curie, Daffodil Appeal, Wiltshire, UK, Volunteers
Wiltshire: The charity is on the lookout for folks to spare a few hours to hand out daffodil pins for donations. It’s a simple way to make a big difference.
The goal is to raise funds for end-of-life care. Sadly, every five minutes, someone passes away without the care they truly need.
Marie Curie depends on donations to provide hospice care and support services. Last year, they helped nearly 40,000 people across the UK.
Peter Sara, the senior community fundraiser for Wiltshire, shared that everyone deserves the best end-of-life care. The Great Daffodil Appeal, now in its 39th year, is a fun way to give back to the community.
Volunteers will get all the support they need from the charity’s team, plus they’ll be given a “big yellow hat” to wear while they’re out there.
If you want to help out, check out mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil or give Peter a call at 07754 747979.
And if you want to support the Great Daffodil Appeal in 2025, you can grab a daffodil pin at Morrisons, Superdrug, Savers, and SPAR stores this March.
