Manchester: So, there was this wild scene on a Jet2 flight that just landed. A guy named Jack Breheny, 32, was totally out of it and trying to expose himself in front of everyone. Can you imagine? Passengers were horrified!

He had just come back from a trip to Salou, Spain, trying to shake off a breakup. When the plane landed, the police were already waiting for him. They got reports about this ‘very intoxicated’ guy causing a ruckus with his twin brother. Turns out, he wasn’t even armed with anything dangerous, just really drunk.

Flight attendants told the cops that Jack was running up and down the aisle, trying to show off. His brother tried to keep him in check, but Jack ended up locking himself in the bathroom. When they finally got him out, he was just sitting there, fully clothed. What a mess!

When the police arrested him, he was initially cooperative, even saying “take me” as they put on the handcuffs. But then he fell over right in front of them. They had to help him off the plane and into a police van. He was so drunk that they didn’t even bother interviewing him right away; they just put him in a cell.

In court, it came out that Jack had no serious criminal record, just a couple of minor things from when he was younger. His lawyer explained that the trip was meant to help him cope with his breakup, but clearly, things went south.

Jack admitted his behavior was disgraceful and said he was deeply ashamed. The judge pointed out that it took a while for him to apologize, but his lawyer insisted he was genuinely sorry for causing distress to everyone on the flight.

In the end, the judge decided not to send him to jail right away. Instead, he got a six-month sentence suspended for 18 months, plus 150 hours of community service and some rehab for his drinking. The judge told him this was a real chance to turn things around, and if he messed it up, it would be on him.
