Aberdeen: Mango is opening a new store here. This is part of a big expansion across the UK.
The fashion brand plans to open 20 new stores in 2025. They want to grow their presence in Scotland.
New locations include Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow, Birmingham, Belfast, and Cardiff. They will also have a flagship store on Oxford Street in London.
This news is great for Aberdeen, especially after recent store closures at Union Square shopping centre.
Fat Face has already closed its store there. Hollister and Superdry are also leaving the city’s largest shopping centre.
All new stores will feature a Mediterranean-inspired design. This reflects the fresh spirit of the Mango brand.
Daniel López, Mango’s Director of Expansion, said the UK is a key market for their growth.
He mentioned that their 2025 plan follows successful openings in 2024. They aim to get closer to customers with more stores.
By the end of 2024, Mango had over 70 stores in the UK. They also have a strong online presence.
