Manchester woman charged with fatally shooting boyfriend in head

Manchester: So, there’s been a pretty shocking incident in Manchester. A woman named Alicia Castagnino, just 24 years old, has been charged with shooting her boyfriend, Brennan Pelio, in the head. This all went down at their home on Silver Street.

According to the police, it happened late Tuesday night. They found Brennan dead from a gunshot wound when they responded to a call about a suspicious death. An autopsy confirmed that the cause of death was indeed a single gunshot wound to the head.

Alicia was arrested the next morning and is facing some serious charges. She’s been hit with two counts of second-degree murder. One charge is for knowingly causing Brennan’s death, and the other is for recklessly causing it under really dangerous circumstances.

Residents in the building, Twin Towers Condominiums, are understandably shaken. One woman, Sue Scotti, who just moved back to Manchester after years in Florida, said the city feels a lot less safe now. It’s wild to think something like this could happen right where you live.
