Manchester: So, there was a little hiccup at Manchester Crown Court. A small leak popped up, and they had to move some cases around.
Specifically, courtroom five at Crown Square is out of commission for now. It’s in Hardman Square, right in Spinningfields.
The leak is in a connecting room, which means they can’t use that courtroom at the moment. But don’t worry, it hasn’t caused any delays.
All the hearings that were supposed to happen in court five have been shifted to Minshull Street Crown Court. That’s pretty close to Piccadilly train station, so it’s not too far.
A spokesperson from HM Courts and Tribunals Service confirmed everything is running smoothly despite the leak. They’ve kept everyone in the loop about the changes.
