Livelsberger, 37, tragically took his own life just before the explosion. Police say he had been searching for info on explosives and legal fireworks in Arizona.
He left behind notes explaining that the explosion was meant to be a wake-up call about the nation’s issues. He wanted to cleanse his mind of past traumas.
While the blast caused minor injuries to seven people, it didn’t damage the hotel much. Authorities confirmed he acted alone in this bizarre incident.
Investigators are looking into whether he aimed to make a political statement, given the connection to the hotel and Tesla. However, he had no negative feelings toward Trump.
In fact, he mentioned in his notes that the country should rally around Trump and Elon Musk. The sheriff called the use of AI in this way a concerning first for law enforcement.
