A tragic incident in Eaglesham has led to the death of a 74-year-old cyclist, leaving the community in shock.

Eaglesham: A sad event unfolded on Polnoon Street last Thursday. A 74-year-old cyclist was involved in a collision that morning around 10am. Emergency services rushed to help.
Unfortunately, the man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment but sadly passed away a few days later on January 21. It’s just heartbreaking.
Sergeant Jack Swindells expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. He mentioned that investigations are still ongoing to figure out exactly what happened.
