Man Threatens Officers After High-Speed Chase in Tooele
A man was arrested in Tooele after a wild chase and made threats against police officers
Tooele, Utah, Jesus Antonio Wise, High-Speed Chase, Police Threats
The trooper tried to catch up, but Wise was all over the place—passing cars, hitting concrete barriers, and speeding through local areas. Eventually, he lost control and ended up in a field. By then, more police had joined the chase, and they had to ram his vehicle to stop him.
When Wise finally got out of his car, he was arrested. But things took a wild turn during the investigation. He started making some pretty serious threats to the officers, saying he’d shoot them and even cut off their heads. Yikes! He also mentioned that the officers’ families were “fair game.”
After all that, he was taken to jail, where he refused a blood test to check his alcohol level. Wise is now facing a long list of charges, including DUI and assault on peace officers. He’s sitting in Tooele County Jail with no bail, waiting for his day in court.
Just a reminder, though—these are just allegations, and everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
