Manchester: A wild scene unfolded on a Jet2 flight when a drunken passenger, Jack Breheny, decided to run up and down the aisle, trying to expose himself. Talk about a chaotic landing!

Breheny, 32, from Burnage, was on his way to Salou, Spain, hoping to escape a recent breakup. But things took a turn when he got way too intoxicated. Police were called right after the plane landed around 10 PM on October 3 last year.

According to the crew, he was heavily drunk and had been seated next to his twin brother. Initially, they thought he was armed with plastic shards, but it turned out to be a misunderstanding. When the police boarded, they quickly realized he was just very inebriated.

At first, Breheny was compliant, even telling the officers, “take me,” as they tried to arrest him. But then he fell over and started resisting. They had to help him off the plane, and things got a bit messy from there.

Once in the police van, his behavior escalated, and he began making threats. Instead of being interviewed, he was put straight into a cell because he posed a risk. The flight attendants reported that he had been running around, shocking other passengers, while his brother tried to keep him in check.

In a bizarre twist, he even locked himself in the toilet, and when the crew finally got the door open, he was just sitting there fully clothed. It was a real spectacle!

Breheny had no serious criminal record, just a couple of minor reprimands from his youth. His lawyer explained that the trip was meant to help him cope with his breakup, but it clearly went off the rails.

In court, Breheny expressed deep shame for his actions. The judge noted that while his behavior was appalling, there was no violence involved, and he had shown remorse. Instead of sending him to jail, she gave him a suspended sentence, along with community service and an alcohol treatment program.

The judge told him, “This is your chance to turn things around. If you mess it up, it’s on you.” Let’s hope he takes that advice to heart!
