A man has been sentenced to life in prison for the brutal murder of his ex-girlfriend in Croydon

Croydon: A man named Hussain Haron has been sentenced for killing his ex-girlfriend. He stabbed Felecia Cadore in a brutal attack. This happened on June 9, 2023. Haron, 24, climbed through her window to confront her.

Felecia, 29, was found with serious stab wounds. She was rushed to the hospital but sadly died five days later. Haron was arrested the same day and had the knife used in the attack.

During the trial, he claimed he acted in self-defense. However, the jury found him guilty of murder. He will serve a minimum of 20 years in prison.

Detective Chief Inspector Craig Magee led the investigation. He stated that justice has been served for Felecia’s tragic murder. He emphasized the impact of violence against women and girls.

He also praised the witnesses who bravely testified in court. The verdict aims to provide some comfort to Felecia’s family as they cope with this horrific crime.
