Man kissed schoolgirl on cheek in B&M after she said how old she was

Southport: So, there was this incident in B&M where a guy named David Bigley, who’s 45, approached two schoolgirls. He asked them if they wanted to drink alcohol with him, which is just weird, right?

When the girls told him they were only 15, he didn’t take the hint. Instead, he put his arm around one of them and kissed her on the cheek. Not cool at all!

The police caught wind of it, and Bigley was charged with sexual assault and even had some cannabis on him. He ended up pleading guilty in court and got 16 weeks in prison. Plus, he’s on the Sexual Offenders Register for seven years.

Detective Inspector Paul McVeigh spoke out about how unacceptable Bigley’s behavior was. He emphasized that no one should have to deal with unwanted advances, especially young girls. Thankfully, the case was resolved quickly, so the victim didn’t have to go through a long trial.
