Croydon: A man was sentenced to life for murdering his ex-girlfriend. The attack happened when he climbed through her window.

On June 9, 2023, police responded to a call about a fight at a home on Grenaby Avenue. Felecia Cadore, 29, was found with serious stab wounds.

She was rushed to the hospital but sadly died five days later. Hussain Haron, 24, from Mitcham, was later found guilty of her murder.

During the trial, it was revealed that Haron had entered through the window to confront her. After a heated argument, he stabbed her with a knife.

He was arrested later that day, still holding the knife used in the attack. Despite claiming self-defense, the jury convicted him of murder.

Detective Chief Inspector Craig Magee stated that justice was served. He emphasized the serious impact of violence against women.

He also praised the witnesses who bravely testified in court. The case has been a long and painful journey for Felecia’s family.
