A tragic accident on the A24 in Caple has claimed the life of a man in his 60s, prompting an appeal for witnesses from Surrey Police

Caple: A man in his 60s has sadly passed away after a two-car crash on the A24. This happened early on Tuesday, January 14, around 7 am. Surrey Police got the call about the accident and rushed to the scene.

When they arrived, they found two cars had collided between Kingsfold and Clark’s Green. Unfortunately, the man driving one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family has been informed about the tragic news. The road was closed for several hours while police conducted their investigation, but it has since reopened.

Now, Surrey Police are asking anyone who might have seen the crash or has any information to come forward. They’re particularly interested in anyone who was in the area between 6:50 am and 7:05 am.
