Gwynedd: A man’s body was found at a property, and it’s led to quite the investigation. Police and fire crews are looking into what happened.

It all started when North Wales Police got a call about an unexpected death of a 55-year-old man near Pwllheli. They showed up at the house on Sunday, January 12.

Firefighters were also called because there were signs of a fire at the scene. Luckily, they confirmed there wasn’t an active fire anymore.

Neighbors noticed a bunch of police cars and a forensic team hanging around the area in Bro Cynfil, Penrhos, throughout the day and into the night. The man’s family has been notified, and the investigation is still ongoing.

A police spokesperson mentioned that they’re working closely with the fire service to figure out what went down. They’re taking this seriously, and the coroner is involved too.

The fire crew arrived around 4:10 PM after being called by the police. They found the man’s body inside the property and confirmed there was no live fire situation.

Now, both the police and fire service are diving into a full investigation to uncover the cause of the fire and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
