London: A man named Ian Airlie fell down an escalator at Waterloo Tube station. This happened on September 15, and he sadly passed away on October 10.

Police say it was a very sad accident. Initially, his family thought he might have been pushed. But after reviewing CCTV footage, they found no evidence of that.

Detective Inspector Chris Rogers mentioned that they are still looking into the case. They want to understand what happened fully.

After the fall, Ian spoke to security staff. He mentioned falling onto a woman who also went down with him. Later, he talked to a woman on a bus who helped him with a tissue for his bleeding eye.

Ian was wearing a black T-shirt and grey joggers. He had a turquoise rucksack and a black suitcase with him. The police are still waiting for more test results to explain his death.
