Gloucestershire: A man is in court for allegedly trying to damage property at Boris Johnson’s wedding party venue. Tim Speers is accused of having spray paint, super glue, and red boiler suits on July 29, 2022, just before the event.
Speers, 39, from Bude, Cornwall, also faces charges for possessing cannabis and Etizolam. He appeared at Southwark Crown Court in London and pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The Johnsons celebrated their marriage at Daylesford Estate on July 30, 2022. The estate features a grand manor house and beautiful countryside owned by Anthony Bamford, a billionaire businessman.
For the celebration, the Johnsons set up marquees and hay bales for seating. During the hearing, Speers wore a white jumper and grey trousers while speaking to Judge Christopher Hehir.
After entering his pleas, he expressed eagerness for the trial, saying, “I want to be at trial. I can’t wait.” He was released on unconditional bail until his trial set for September 7, 2026.
