Man Charged After Mass Brawl at Under-12s Girls’ Rugby Match

Mt Druitt: So, there was this wild scene at a girls’ under-12s rugby match. A 23-year-old guy got charged after a massive brawl broke out. It all went down about four months ago during a match between the Mt Druitt Vikings and the Penrith Brothers.
Parents were filming the whole thing, and it looked pretty chaotic. The game was a big deal, being the grand final and all, but they had to call it off without declaring a winner.
After the dust settled, the police jumped in and started an investigation. Fast forward four months, and they finally charged the guy with affray. Over the weekend, they arrested him at the Penrith Police Station. He’s out on conditional bail now and is set to appear in court on February 18.
