Man caught driving in Darlington with phone day after ban

Darlington: So, this guy was driving around with his phone in hand, right? Just a day after he got banned from driving. Talk about bad luck!

He had just been in court the day before and, to make matters worse, he failed a roadside drug test. Not a great combo!

Police took him in but later let him go while they wait for the lab results. It’s like he just didn’t think it through.

A spokesperson from the Roads and Armed Policing team said it’s almost like he wanted to get caught. I mean, who drives right after a court ban?

Now, he’s heading home on public transport to the Midlands. The police are even letting his local force know about his little escapade in Durham.

Let’s hope he thinks twice before trying that again anytime soon!
