Leicester: So, there’s this guy, Faizal Khan, who got into some serious trouble over a comment he made while singing in his car. He was just pulling up when he shouted something about a woman’s backside, and her boyfriend didn’t take it well at all.

In court, the prosecutor laid it all out. Apparently, Khan yelled, “Nice [backside]” as he drove by. Then, he got out of his car, cracked open a beer, and started shouting more stuff, including a racist slur. Not cool, right?

Things escalated when Khan approached the couple and got aggressive, saying he wanted to fight and even threatened to stab the guy. Yikes! The couple was understandably freaked out and called the police when they saw him again a few days later.

When the cops showed up, they took the couple’s statement. The woman was so scared that she actually left the country for two months. That’s some serious intimidation!

In court, Khan admitted to being threatening, and it turns out he has a bit of a record with 15 previous offenses. His lawyer tried to explain that he was just singing along to a song that mentioned women’s backsides, but the judge wasn’t having it. She reminded him that offensive language is never okay, even if you’re just singing.

In the end, Khan got fined £123 and had to pay some extra costs. Lesson learned, I guess: think before you sing!
