Two police officers ended up getting hurt while trying to handle the situation. The 45-year-old man managed to escape through a window but was caught not long after.

The police were there to serve an arrest warrant around 11:30 AM when things took a turn. The man barricaded himself inside, and that’s when the fire started.

Fire crews had to rush in, with five engines showing up to deal with the flames. A spokesperson from Police Scotland confirmed the details, saying they were on the scene to execute the warrant when the man made things difficult.

It’s a pretty intense situation, and investigations are still ongoing. The fire service was alerted shortly after the police arrived, and they quickly mobilized to help out.
